My family is thinking of buying an ipad for my mother and I'm curious to hear about your thoughts if you have one.
She doesn't do much on the computer besides email occasionally and do online shopping. I think she would like to have something to use on the couch instead of going into the other room to use their desktop.

Re: ipad
Hi!
The ipad would be great for doing just that. I use it a lot for just browsing around online. The picture is clean and crisp. I have the 32G Wifi which works for me and I would imagine your Mom as well unless she is a bit of a mover. She may find out that she will be doing a lot with it. I have already been using it in the kitchen for some online recipes. I also use the netflix app to maintain and even watch movies from our account. The sound that comes out of it is really good.
the only things she would have to get use to is the touch keyboard that is on it. The keys are much bigger than on the Iphone/touches which is really nice and fairly easy to work with. My DH got me the Keyboard attachment for my birthday and if I know I'm going to be composing a message or anything else that is going to be a bit longer to compose I hook it right up to that.
