places to take your dog swimming
Hey everyone,
I just moved to Durham from Michigan a week ago and I was wondering if anyone knew of any areas where I would be allowed to take my dog swimming. He loves the water but I haven't been able to find a place to take him yet. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Re: places to take your dog swimming
We sometimes go swimming at a quarry in Durham, and plenty of people also bring their dogs. Here's a link to a little description of it:

It's part of the Eno River State Park. It's off of Hillsborough Rd. in Durham, although I know it by sight and can't think of the exact directions/road names off the top of my head. You should be able to find directions by looking at some of the official Eno River State Park stuff online.
