I know that some of our May 09 ladies have already had babies. Some are pregnant. Some are starting to try after the 1 year anniversary mark. And some others are waiting for a while.

I just thought it would be interesting to figure out how many of us fit into each of those categories in one post.

So, where are you in the baby making process?

DH and I originally thought we would start trying after our 1 year anniversary. Now, with a move to Atlanta, him starting medical school and me trying to find a job, we have decided to wait until things are a little more settled.

The current idea is to let the beginning of 2011 be our time to start trying. I guess we'll see what happens!

We are waiting until we are in better financial shape. We could handle kids now financially but I want to get my school loans paid off as H and I want me to stay at home and I'd feel weird having H pay off my loans. Not sure when we'll start trying exactly but I have over half paid off so we are making progress! Plus, we also want to get some more traveling in before kids.

Our original plan was to start trying at the end of this summer, but things happen when they are meant to happen. We will be welcoming our baby this Christmas!

We don't really have a plan. When we got married we didn't make any timelines for ourselves. We do know we want to start trying sooner rather than later. But we just aren't there yet. I think the biggest thing is that we just started our careers and MH isn't even in the job he really wants to be in.

When we are there we'll start thinking about it!

ETA: I'm almost 30 and he is 31. We aren't spring chickens but in school for a loonngg time so we feel 'young' in life. Age isn't the only factor here, no matter what the media makes you think!

We're waiting a while... I imagine 3 years from now would be the earliest we would start trying. We're so young and have a lot that we want to do before then. H is actually talking about going back to school and I would like to work some to help save up before we jump into the "next step."

We said we'd wait a year before we start trying. I've been off BC for about a month now so now we're just seeing what happens. DH just turned 31 and I'll be 31 in December so we didn't want to wait any more than that.

We started TTC the week we got back from our HM I am 31 and DH is 33, we are established and have been together for 7+ yrs, so there really was no reason to wait. We got pregnant in October. I am now almost 37 wks along and expecting to meet our little guy by July 1st. I found out last Thurs that I am 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced! While that may mean absolutely nothing and is not a real predictor of when Evan will make his debut, I'm still excited that I am already progressing. I really do feel like I'll go early

MH and I knew we wanted to start trying really soon after getting married. We started trying in July, and got pregnant in October. Our little girl is due 07/26, but it appears she could make her way into this world by induction in 4-5 weeks. I can't wait!!!

We started trying back in August of 09. I got pregnant after 7 months of trying, but found out two weeks later it was ectopic. My left fallopian tube ruptured and had to be completely removed. They told me I had to wait at least 3 months before trying again so I went back on BC. I am going in two weeks for a procedure to see if my other fallopian tube is blocked (they found out I have bad endometriosis during my surgery) to see if it is even possible for me to pregnant again. The odds aren't great apparently. It has been extremely depressing to say the least.

Last May when we got married, we said we wanted kids sooner rather than later so we did not use any BC and were in the camp "if it happens it happens." Needless to say we got pregnant in June and Ella was born March 5th and is now 3 months old. We want our kids 2-3 years apart, so we will probably start TTC #2 next summer or fall.

Well, since we already had a kid when we got married, I guess I don't fit nicely in this poll, but I would like to have one more - soon, since Aidan is 5 now! We are thinking about trying late this year or next year.

We are on the what happens happens plan.

My sister is having a destination wedding next November, so hopefully god works with us on that!

We are thinking around the 2nd anniversary to start trying. After the wedding, we were in a good financial spot, but now with layoffs and pay cuts, not so much.
