Re: Dog Boarding Recos in Mason
We take Roxy to Four Paws in Maineville for doggy daycare and for boarding. We love it there and they are super nice people. We started going when they opened about a year ago and we have never had a problem.
I can't quote their rates off the top of my head but we boarded her from Thursday to Sunday recently and it was a little over $100, including a bathe and brush.
We use Animal Care Center in Blue Ash. It's not that far from Mason.
They are our vets, too, which always makes me feel good in case something happens with them. Our dogs are getting older, so they have some health problems
I just want to say that we drive our dogs down to Red Dog Pet Resort in Oakley area, even thought we've moved up to Mason. We pay around $40/night for 2 dogs sharing a room, so it's around $25/night for their "dorms" but you can get nicer rooms or even rooms where the dog can go inside and outside on it's own.
No matter what you do, I'd suggest going and touring locations. See what the rooms are like, find out what time the dogs will be taken out per day for bathroom breaks. Will they get any outdoor time for playing? Can you buy them extras like a walk or some cuddle time? Also, is there someone there 24 hours in case of emergency? That was a deal breaker for us.
