Rec for Movers?
Good friends of mine will be moving at the first of the month from Oltorf & S. 1st area to Shoal Creek area - so not far. Does anyone have any recs for good movers?

Me too! I've used them 4 times over the past 6 yrs with no problems. If you submit your quote online, you also get a 10% discount (it can be adjusted and still eligible for the discount later).
i posted on the other board... but...
I just hired Central Texas Movers. I called about 10 places and they were the cheapest hourly rate (by a significant amount). I've talked on the phone with them a couple times so far and they've been super nice and seem pretty 'on top' of things. We move at 10am tomorrow morning so if you want to email me at shanwalk2 at yahoo dot com I will give you my name for a referral (so they'll give you the same rate, hopefully) and i can give you a real opinion after the move is complete.
