That I want to take about a week and a half off after the procedure? If it is Wednesday I would want to take Wednesday through the next Wednesday off. We have Thursday through Monday off for July 4th. This would put me off for 13 days. My thinking is I just want to relax, not worry about getting up and down at work and my boss stresses me at times. I have plenty of time. I know women get pg all the time and never take off but I want to do everything I can to give the kiddos a good environment. Maybe I am overthinking it. I can get so much stuff done (craft stuff) or just be lazy.

And to play devils advocate - do you really want to have all that time to sit and think about it?

i agree with pp...i would make sure you had enough time off for other doctor visits and if you get sick during the pregnacy you might want some days off.
I have never gone through what you are experiencing I know for me personally I would not want the time off bc my mind out wonder and I would make myself sick worrying about things. I would be more beneficial to myself and dh if I went to work and got my mind off things.
Good plan!
