...thank you cards!!! The final 15 of you went in the mail this morning and I couldn't be more thrilled. After much suffering, I am not sorry to say good bye. I think I might have to go to physical therapy to regain full motion and control in my writing hand. And I don't care if I ever see another envelope that needs to be addressed or sealed again! You are a huge monkey off my back and now I will have time to spend doing other things I don't want to do!
Re: I'm through with you...
Crap, I really need to start these...
I'm a physical therapist (well I will be an official one in September)- I can help you! lol
Good job getting them done!! We haven't started ours yet
Thanks for the offer! I might just take you up on that.
Well DONE!!!!! Doesn't it feel good. I got those done a couple of weeks ago now wooohooo!
I just sent the stuff that I sold from the wedding out so I am officially done with wedding stuff except waiting on photos!!!
Can I tell you the MIL is driving me LOCO about pictures like I am holding out on her intentionally!
Great job!! I've got about 15 written and need to send them out. I'm waiting to finish until after I take the GRE next friday. Then that weight will be off my shoulders and then I can whip out the TY cards and get them done...and then I'm FREE to do whatever I want!!!
I want to tear up the bushes in the front of our house and put new, prettier ones in and put a walkway next to our driveway, which are my weekend projects once these 2 things are done.
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
Pam my MIL is doing the same thing! I keep telling her when I get them, she will know.
Good job on getting your thanks you's done. I actually sent the last of mine out today as well. They really are a pain and I'm glad they are out of my life.
Congrats to all who have finished! It's a wonderful feeling once it's all done.
A tip for anyone who is interested: type up your notes in a document first. Mine ended up being 10 pages long! But every single note I wrote is on there and none are more than 5 lines of type. It allows you to put your thoughts down before you put pen to paper - my brain just doesn't work that way!
I went several rounds with the thank you cards, so when I would get back to it and have trouble getting started, I would peruse those I had written previously to get an idea of what kinds of things I talked about. And it helped me to be sure not to write the exact same thing to everyone - like all my cousins who would have gotten cards on the same day and compared notes.
