Ugghh! Mia is sick and a vent
Last week Wed, Allison came down with a cough and fever at the end of the day. I was off Thursday, so I had planned on taking care of her. Brian got up to go to work and then came back in the room later and said he called in sick. I didn't say anything because I had been after him to go ahead and use some of his PTO so he doesn't lose it. However, it didn't really make sense to use it when I was already off that day. I thought he had court on Friday and that is why he didn't plan on taking Friday off. So I took Friday off to take care of Allion. Brian didn't have court, but had a conference call which he could have done from home because it was during their naps.
Now Amelia came down with a fever which means I'm out for sure tomorrow, hopefully not Wednesday.
I'm won't say anything to him this time, but next time as soon as I realize one of the kids are sick, I'm going to say something along the lines of lets look at our schedules and figured out how to cover child care for the next few days.

I totally understand your vent! sometimes I feel like it is assumed I will stay home with the sick kiddo and dh will only do it if its something I absolutely cannot do.
Hope she feels better soon and you don't get it!
Oh! Vent away! I remember the days of "if those sniffles get worse, who is taking the day off?" That's tough.
I hope both girls are well (and you and Brian too) in the morning.
