Reupholstery Cost?

Sorry to be a bit of a PW today. Can anybody give me an idea about how much it costs to have a sofa reupholstered? It's got very clean lines, all of the corners and cushions are square. There are 3 seat cushions and 3 back ones. Just trying to decide if it is worth it to buy my G'Ma's couch that I've always loved and reupholster or hold out for a new one in a year or so.

Re: Reupholstery Cost?

  • Last time I got a qoute 3 years ago for a chair it was soemthing like $400 plus whatever the cost of fabric was.

There is a place in Cedar Park, called plush they do reupholster at location, and they used to give estimates if they see the picture of the sofa. you may want to try them.

Also Interior Fabrics, they do have a lot of numbers for people who do reupholstering. (512) 302-2555

  • I paid close to $700 to have a sofa reupholstered recently plus the cost of fabric.  If you have a nice quality sofa with good bones already it's worth it IMO.  It's cheaper to reupholster a good piece than to buy a new, equivalent replacement.
