it's been a while, tipping question

hi ladies,

my BIL's wedding is this weekend. the girls doing hair and make up are coming to the hotel and are friends of friends, SO what is the etiquette with tipping? THANKS!

Re: it's been a while, tipping question

  • What I've always heard is that if it's the owner of the business serving you, you don't need to tip because they get the benefit of the full fee and not just some percentage.  Otherwise, tip as you feel is appropriate for the level of service provided (15-20%).
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • I agree with Rock. In the industry, that's the expectation.
