Job hunters (or those with job hunting husbands)

Do you have a go-to job site? I use npo.net (it's for Chicagoland non-profits), but I have no idea where to search for for-profit companies to broaden my horizons. I think Monster and CareerBuilder are so full of scams that I try to avoid them - what do you ladies use?

I use our local newspapers online classifieds. I also use monster; if you make the parameters really tight the scams will not show up. Or, you could just sift through lots of crap jobs and have broad parameters.

Thanks for the suggestions, girls! Ashely, I have the same thoughts about Monster, CL, CareerBuilder, etc...but maybe I'll try Heather's suggestion and tighten up the search parameters.

I'm not quite desperate enough for a recruiter or head hunter at this point...maybe if I didn't have a job I'd go that route, but I'd much rather avoid it for now.
