I would rather pay someone else to...
What things in your life would you rather pay someone to do, than do yourself? Can be totally normal (oil change, wash dishes or over the top like take your husband clothes shopping.) And go!
Re: I would rather pay someone else to...
As far as DIY stuff, I like doing it ourselves and I dont think I would actually ever pay someone to do it for me. And I think my mom would disown me if I hired someone to clean my house although aside from the guilt I would love it.
I would much prefer to pay someone to bathe my dogs -- they make a disaster area out of the bathroom and I hate the smell of wet dog -- and clip their toenails. We have to with one anyway - he clawed the helll out of me the one time I was able to get about 3 nails clipped. The vet sedates him.

I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.

My theory is to never pay someone to do something you can do yourself. I always regret spending the money when I could have just sucked it up and done whatever it was myself.
On that note, I would definitely pay someone to mow the lawn. I did it completely on my own last night and it took 3 hours. We live on 3/4 an acre and our house is situation on a hill. We have to get a push mower or else we risk flipping a rider on the hill. It's a huge project. Hubby was thrilled when we got home though. His bday is this weekend so the last thing he wanted to do was mow a lawn.
Dishes. I love to cook but I HATE doing dishes.
Also, cleaning the cat litter.
(Though I would probably never actually pay someone to do them, it would be nice!)
There are so many!!
I would rather pay someone else to:
-deep clean the house (I am DYING for a cleaning lady- and will definitely get one the moment I have a baby if not before)
-do the laundry, including folding it and putting it away
-plan meals, grocery shop & clean up (I can handle the cooking)
-run my errands (dry cleaning, etc.)
