So sad :(
Long time no see. Could use any extra prayers you guys have. A lot of you are friends with me on FB and know what happened today and I appriciate all the love and support. We had to put our 14 year old dog down today and my heart is broken in a million pieces. My heart hurts so much for Tanner. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as we try to pull ourselves together after our best buddy Marley crossed the rainbow bridge.
We are going to work on a scrapbook together and are taking his ashes up to Winston Salem at a later date to the farm he loved so much. This is pretty much the hardest thing we have ever had to do and we have had some pretty sad things happen in our lives. Marley has been with me my entire adult life and it's not going to be the same without him. He is at peace now and is no longer in pain, but it still hurts. Smooch your pooches a little bit extra tonight!

I'm so sorry you're going through this! Losing a pet is so hard. Hugs to you and your family.
When we had to put our dog down, I was crying when we left the vet. A man in the parking lot asked if I lost an animal and I said yes. He said, "I cried more when my cat died than when my parents died. . .I never argued with the cat." I made me smile that horrible day and every time I think about putting our dog down.
I'm so sorry for your loss! It sounds like Marley got copious amounts of love while he was here on Earth, and I bet that made all the difference in the world to him.
