What are these called...

The metal bars of a bed...the parts that make the bottom that the box springs rest on?  One of ours got bent when we moved last weekend and I need to try and find a new one, but I don't know what they are called.

Re: What are these called...

  • If you're not talking about the actual bed frame (with the feet to hold it off the ground) it could be the slats.  That's what supports our actual box spring/mattress.  Ours are wood, not metal though.

  • bed frame would be right.  I think the slats can only hold a mattress, if it was a mattress set wouldn't it be too high?

Our slats are on a low profile bed and they hold the box and the mattress.  I think it just depends on the bed.
