Funniest quote from the shower
TH attended my baby shower with me on Sunday and helped open gifts, etc. We opened up one gift that had a few items in it, and someone from the back of the room yells "What is it?"
TH starts pulling stuff out of the box and says "A blanket, some bottles, and uhhh (pause...) a straight jacket for the baby."
He was talking about a SwaddleMe.

HA AH Actually that was what we used to call it with Allison when had her meltdowns...."If you keep this up, we are going to put you in your straight jacket."
That thing was a livesaver for us. My FIL HATED when we put her in that and would make comments. Brian used to get so pissed off. I think I even said one time "hey, if you want to take her for an hour and see if you can calm her down without it, go right ahead."
LOL we called it the baby straightjacket too! Too bad Ben hated to be swaddled after the first 2 weeks! I would have loved to be able to use that to soothe him.
