And we still no nothing.
And I'm still irritated and really think they should know something. But I am no doctor. They did another scan this afternoon, clean again. They are for sure it is not appendicitis. Even though he is still in a lot of pain. But everything is clear so it is not appendicitis. They say one of his lymph nodes is swollen (which is apparently near his appendix). We didn't even know we had lymph nodes there, so that was new to us. They have decided that is what is causing the pain (apparently, whatever it is, is common and can present itself with pain that "looks" like appendicitis.) But they aren't really sure that's what it is. So they're putting him on clear liquids and hoping that the antibiotics clears up the infection they think might be there but they aren't sure it'll actually help.
So yeah, if he feels better tomorrow it's the lymph nodes. If he doesn't who the heck knows what it is. We requested a second opinion by a doctor that we actually know but it was kinda late when we did that so we don't actually expect to see him tonight but are hoping to see him in the morning.

I am soooo sorry you guys are going through all this stress!!!! I hope they find something. Tell him to get well you need to move into your house soon.

He's actually feeling worse. He's in more pain so they are giving him more pain meds now. I just talked to him and he said he had a really rough night and he threw up once (maybe more, he just said he threw up). So yeah, really hoping today is the day.
Kara I saw your post. I replied to it, but again thank you for sharing your story. At least I know we're not the only people in the world with a mystery.
I'm hoping between the GI doctor he's supposed to see today and the doctor we requested to see they figure something out. Hopefully a fresh set (or two) of eyes will be good.
