I love trip planning and hearing about trips. So where is everyone going this summer? Share a PIP of the locale if you are especially excited about it.

We are going to Kiawah Island for a week in July. We went 2 years ago and loved it. Perfect balance of relaxing nothingness but the the beach and just a little to do so you don't go stir crazy. I'm already counting the days. Here is pic of the view off the balcony of the condo we've rented.
weekend visit to Ohio, not sure if that really counts as vacation.
4th of July, we may visit friends in Wilmington
August, we're going to Ocean Isle for 5 days with DH's family
i'm doing a weekend girls trip to the mountains in late June. that should be fun.

We aren't really taking a vacation...next weekend I'm going to the beach with the girls from my bible study. In July for DH's birthday we are going to Busch Gardens to:

July 4 weekend - back to the beach
Mid-July - Going to Scotland for a week and a half
sometime in August - back to the beach
Next month we're going to Maine for a wedding. It'll be a quick trip and it's not really vacation, but I've never been to Maine so I'm excited about that.
Next month we're also going to St. Maarten (the Dutch side). My BFF is there going to medical school and we'll be staying with her, so all we really had to pay for was the flights and then food when we're down there.
In August we're spending a week in the OBX with my parents.
We may also take a couple of weekend trips to visit our parents; DH's parents are in the process of moving to TN from SC, so we'll want to go see their new house and town.
We're going to stay with family in Michigan in about a week for a friend's wedding and my little sister's graduation party
But the super exciting vacation is.... a trip for a week to Vegas in August!! We got engaged in Vegas and are going back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary! I cannot wait!

we are going on our "honeymoon" in august to Secrets Capri in Mexico....and probably to Oak Island a few times.
I don't know how to post pics on here yet; it's a little different than the knot format and i can't figure it out on here.

As for us~ July: long weekend at OIB with family, Richmond, VA for couples shower, & then back to OIB with work friends.
August: wedding in Southern Pines then back to OIB over labor day.
Any day on the lake is a vacation, so hopefully DH's parents get the boat out this weekend to start the days of going out on it.
We'll be in Oak Island for a week in July! (I wanted to go somewhere else (to me, the beach for a FULL week = boring, but we are, again, mooching off the ILs...they really wanted us to do this with them though)
