NER - Okay, no, really, South Park went too far
Did anyone watch tonight's episode? The rape episode?
Not cool. Not cool at all.
Big thumbs down to Parker and Stone.

Isn't this what they are known for? This CANNOT be the first time they've crossed the line. I figure in order to watch it you have to suspend your ability to be offended and recognize there is absolutely nothing that is off limits to those guys. I'm sure they would defend themselves as artists somehow, but how exactly that would work, I'm not certain.
I used to love South Park. I haven't kept up with it in recent years, but definitely saw a few segments that were pretty rough.
I think I'm just more sensitive to this one because it dealt with rape.
Basically, [SPOILER ALERT]
they set up the episode to be one where all of the kids are upset that Spielberg and Lucas "raped" Indiana Jones (meaning they ruined his character in the new Indiana Jones film). And there are some pretty graphic rapes scenes involving the three (including the one from deliverance). I was just pissed that they would trivialize something like rape in this way.
