do you have an ipod dock that you love?
I'm thinking about getting one for my husband for father's day, since Cooper broke the one we have currently.
I'd like to get one that runs on batteries as well as can be plugged in. One that can be beat around and taken outside if necessary.
Also, where do they sell such things?? 
Mind you, this is for this coming Sunday, so I don't think I have time to order one online.

Yes! I have an iHome, but its kind of old.. I checked out google shopping, and the closest thing I could come to it was this one. The sound quality is not bad at all, and we can hear it really well even from like 20 ft away. Never use the alarm functionality, though:

We have a JBL one that holds ipods and iphones. It's a radio and alarm clock too. It does save the time so that if you unplug it and plug it in a different room you don't have to reset it. I don't know if they still have the radio alarm clock one anymore because best buy only has this one online:
