POLL! How much do you pay to credit cards?
Including lines of credit, how much money do you send to credit card companies in an average month?
[Poll]
Re: POLL! How much do you pay to credit cards?
I'm guessing you're not asking what your minimum payment is? We pay ours off every month but we also put EVERYTHING on the card to maximize rewards so my answer would be off the charts in terms of this poll.
ETA: for example, most of our utilities are paid by the cc: electric, phones, cable/internet, gas, auto insurance, netflix, etc. We don't use debit cards except at Costco and withdrawing cash (rare).

+1 for this option, except I never use a debit card and only pay about half my bills with the credit card.

Same here, except we use credit at Costco, too.
This. We charge everything to our credit cards and then pay them off in full every month. We have a rewards card from Citi and the Costco AMEX. Last year we got close to $800 back from just using our credit cards.
We never carry a balance though. We pay off our cc every month.
wow. that's awesome!
I wish I could convice DH to do this... he avoids the credit cards at all costs - even when they could benefit us. ah well... But congrats on earning your $800! that's amazing.

We select the "Credit" option when using our Debit card and earn points that way.
I don't think the rewards are as high as a regular credit car - we got back about $400 last year. However, I don't trust us to not put more on regular credit cards than we can pay off, so we don't use them at all.
Sadly ... we're still paying on some of DHs balances from 6+ years ago
yep, we put everything on our card and pay it off in full.
sadly, I opened another card just for my work travel expenses and that bill is crazy high! it's between 4-6K a month.
at least I get reimbursed, but still.
This. I mentioned this on the babies board thread, the first lesson I learned about credit card management was to treat it like cash. We use it for a lot, but pay it off every month.
We do this too. Since we have AMEX only, we have to pay it off every month.
