As for me, I only work till 2:30 today. Thank God. I might have a nervous breakdown if I spend any longer there. And then is it VACATION! 9 glorious days of vacation.

As for me, I'm working from home this morning, which means I just finished some laundry, packed our bags for this weekend and finished up a banana cream pie I made for my dad since its his birthday. We leave for Iowa about noon.

We are heading to ND for my BFF's wedding this weekend. I am so excited we get to travel! We are driving halfway once DH gets off of work tonight and the rest of the way tomorrow morning. We are staying with my sister tonight so she is pumped to see Amelia since she hasn't seen her since the day she was born. BIL is home from Iraq and it is my nephew's birthday on Sunday so there will be a party for him too. Monday is the drive back.
Its about a 6.5 hour drive so not terrible. Just long enough to get annoying.

Tonight we do more trim painting in the bedroom, then go to our friends apt for a few drinks.
Our Box Spring will be delivered tomorrow, so we will finish the very last of the bedroom trim painting, and then start setting up the room!! Then the only things we'll be missing are the finishing touches, like lamps (which have already been ordered), a new ceiling light, window treatments, and any random extras. We will hopefully shop for those this weekend. Ill post before and after pics once everything is done
Sunday - lunch with K's dad, and probably dinner with mine.
When I get home from work, DH and I are packing up and heading to San Antonio for the weekend to celebrate the anniversary! He?s picking up our anniversary cake this afternoon and a bottle of our toasting wine is chilling in the fridge. No clue what we?re going to do there besides dinner and dancing and walking the River Walk, but it will be nice to get away for the weekend.

I was supposed to get out of work at 12 for a reward lunch since we met our enrollment numbers at work, but my boss decided to change it to 2pm this morning. Thanks for nothing jerk. My parents were also coming to visit but cancelled this morning since my dad is sick. Ugh. All my plans have died in the last 2 hrs.
What a fun weekend everyone's having: family, babies and anniversaries.
I'm going to have our last low-key weekend for the next few weeks: we have no plans and no agenda!
Tomorrow is my brother's graduation party/open house. I'll be at that in the morning, and then I've got to get these edits done on a piece I'm writing that's due to my editor ASAP.
Sunday DH and I are going to Disneyland
We're going to a wedding tomorrow and probably doing something low-key on Sunday for our anniversary. DH surprised me w/ flowers this afternoon when he came home for lunch, so that was pretty sweet.
The flowers are beautiful, KB! Nice work, KB's H!
Oh, and as for my weekend, not much planned. I think we're having a fancy dinner out tomorrow night, and then Sunday (our anniversary) will spent just soaking in our married-ness, picking up our anniv. cake from the baker, watching our wedding video, and a candlelight dinner.
