As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

And we have success! His surgery went well and he was back to his old self before long! The nurse came out and told me he was quite the chatty character which is so totally him haha. The doctor (that we got the 2nd opinion from) took out his appendix and said that it looked more like subacute appendicitis (which is apparently not fully developed appendicitis. Either way, his appendix is gone and he's feeling a LOT better already. He said that the original pain is totally gone and now he's just in "post-surgery pain." Which is all good news. AND those lymphnodes that they said were swollen and causing his pain were not actually swollen and looked totally fine. He's apparently that 1% that doesn't show up on the scans.
