Amy, this is especially for you!
So we bought the white version of the before mentioned cuisinart model and I was definitely inspired by Amy's facebook post. We bought the white one because we had a gift card to williams sonoma....sigh, I loved all the fun colors!!
But we got an extra freezer bowl so we can make double batches or two ice creams at a time.
It definitely took longer than 20 min! You had to refrigerate the mixture for an hour or two before....then 'churn' in the ice cream maker for 20 min...then we still had to freeze it overnight (or a couple hours).
It does taste yummy and super fresh though! We made chocolate with chocolate chips and strawberry with fresh berries from our CSA. This is going to get very dangerous!!

Yum! Looks great! DH LOVES his Ice Cream maker; it was the only registry gift that he really wanted. He makes an awesome Cookies and Cream ice cream every summer. ;-)

Yes, I am choosing my color this weekend. I'll be all ready to go for summer. I am hearing from my cousin that this is really easy to use and clean and worth it.
Oh yea, set up, clean up and everything was super easy!!! Just took longer than the "box" proclaimed. haha.
Yummy! I miss our ice cream maker. Sadly, I broke it when locking it into the kitchenmaid.
I made ice cream last week with a mix and freeze technique and it took over 2 hours before I could let it set (good thing I was watching World Cup during all of this). I'd rather use my aunt's old churner than do that again.
Trip to Prague & bring home furbaby when we get back
