Nurse practitioner vs. doctor?
I've been dealing with some pretty bad lower back/lower spinal column pain for weeks now. I kept hoping it would resolve on its own but finally called the doctor's office to schedule an appointment. She's not available until next Monday, but I can get in to see a nurse practitioner this Tuesday.
Do you think this is something a nurse practitioner can help with or should I just wait for the doctor's appointment? At this point waiting another week won't be a huge difference because I've already been living with it for a month and a half.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball
