Hawaii on Saturday
YAY! Tomorrow, we'll be on our way. H wants to relax and stay on Oahu. See, 40 hit and now he's settled in his ways. He's been traveling a ton with work and looks forward to just hanging out on the beach. I really wanted to see the Na Pali coast and try some new things on Kauai. Next time.
If any want to join us, we'll be on Oahu beaches... staying at the Waikiki Marriott, going to the windward side and north shore most days (might have a few hours for Electric Beach). We could meetup on the booze cruise, Na Hoku.
I have never been to Oahu in the summer. It will be weird to see the north shore calm. Are the waves at Waikiki bigger?

yay!!!
you'll have to snorkel at waimea or shark's cove...it's a trip when it's flat up there...which it is right now. today, waiks is 1-2 feet so not big but in the summer we'll get some 8 footers.
i'm totally joining you for a booze cruise!!! if you go to electric beach, let me know...i still haven't been out there yet (i know, i'm lame).
gtg with nancy???? maybe on the booze cruise...oooh that would be fun!

DH's uncle is an avid surfer and when we were there for our wedding in July, he surfed around Waikiki, rather than the North Shore, if that helps.
