Never trust a man!

Against my better judgment, I asked DH to pick up our anniversary cake today since, well, since I work in BFE.  Anyways, I set a 2pm time. At 2:30, DH texts me he?s on his way. I panic. I don?t know if this place only does appointments or is open full time as they have a new shop since last year. I call and, luckily, they?re still there.  I just get another text from DH, ?Um, so I ate some cake. Sorry. Love you.? He might just die before we make it to our anniversary Sunday!
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

  • The being late I am more sympathetic to (as I am always late), but the eating of your anniversary cake?  Who does that?

  • I'll find out in about 45 minutes if he was joking. Pray for him! Devil

  • About our cake...

Info you need to know: the anniversary is the 21st, DH's bday is the 15th. DH rescued a cat (to which I am allergic) the week before his bday.

When I reminded DH we get a new cake, he asked if he could have it for his birthday.  Since this is all he asked for, and he's impossible to buy for , I agreed.  On the 15th he took the day off, and we went over to pick it up.  We had a huge dinner that night, so we didn't cut into it. We left it in its box on the counter.  The cat climbed up on our fridge and jumped off... onto the cake box.  So the top of the cake is now glued to the inside of the lid.  Today I went to an end of the year school party and got home later than expected (I missed dinner, and I didn't have my phone with me... ooops).  When I got home, not only had DH eaten a slice, he cut the whole thing like a pizza.  The slices are HUGE!  He is so seriously lucky I took a picture of it as soon as we got back from the bakery (b4 the cat attacked it).
