Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Update: I quit my job!
I know I haven't been around much, so here's an update.
About 2 weeks back from maternity leave, I put in my 2 weeks notice. I've hated my job for a couple yrs. It's a small office and NONE of the 5 employees agree with the boss and her new lack of management skills and unruly spending. It's just gotten ridiculous so we've all been looking for other opps, interviewing, or just going to work miserable...like me. I spent so much of my maternity leave working from home. THat was just the last straw. I was so resentful of my boss for ruining that special time with my lil lovebug and our staff couldn't believe how much she called and emailed me, etc.
So I saw a job I really wanted and applied the Friday before I went back. That Monday they called me and I interviewed the next week. It's been a series of interviews and I'll find out the final decision sometime today, but it seems very promising.
However, 2 weeks back from leave, about a month ago, I put in my 2 weeks notice. I was done. June 4th was my last day. I figured if I didnt get it I'd look for something after our July 4th vacay to Michigan. Boss was shocked and said she was disappointed b/c it was short notice...hello, I gave the standard 2 weeks notice! Anyway, I found it as a little payback for my 7 years of unfair treatment, over working, under paid, etc. She took on most of my duties b/c now is my busy time and she didn't want to hire anyone right now.
So, I've gotten to spend a couple weeks being a SAHM and hopefully will get to spend a few more and start my new job (fingers crossed) after the 4th!
