Work and non-work life has been super busy (and insane) lately. When will it slow down?
I have been spending my weeks looking forward to the weekends. And then I have been vegging in between "stuff we have to do".
Re: What is everyone up to?
Hi Denise!! It's nice to hear from you...it's been awhile. I hope things calm down for you soon.
We are busy as well. Keaton will be a year old next month...can you believe it?? I've been busy buying stuff for his party and I'm already going overboard. My DH got a new job that is Mon-Fri 8-4:30 where his last job was working mostly from home and having a flexible schedule. That means I'm home pretty much full-time with Keaton. I still need to keep working for my parents so I try to take Keaton in for a couple hours once a week (which means I get about 5 mins of work done) and working in the evening after Keaton goes to bed...plus trying to get lia sophia stuff done. Busy busy! I'm REALLY looking forward to my little vacation with my manager to Milwaukee at the end of the month for the big lia sophia conference. 4 days away from my little man...that will be tough but I need some me time too.
Other than that my dad and DH are busy building a deck here and trying to get it done in time for Keaton's bday party. It looks great so far! Can't wait to see it all finished.
I hope everyone is doing well!! We really need to have a GTG!!!!!
We've been keeping busy too.
There have been a lot of changes at work with budget cuts. We're losing our amazing supervisor. I love my job but I'm not sure if the amount of stress will be worth the little amount of money I'll be making once we're paying 2 daycare payments a week. We'll need to reevaluate and possibly make some huge changes. I'm considering staying at home and finding something else part time.
Thankfully, my m/s is starting to subside. I still get waves of nausea during the day and am still useless at night but it's better than the 24/7 crap. I'm so anxious to start feeling this baby move!
Ethan of course keeps us busy. He is saying new words all the time and loves to mimic us. Today he learned to do his version of a push up after watching Matt
He cracks us up!
I'm praying that the lady who is under contract to buy our house sells hers soon. We put in an offer on another house last night and will hear a counter this weekend.
Hope everyone is doing well. There are hardly any posts so I imagine everyone is busy!
TTC since Jan 07. Dx with PCOS Jan 08
I've been hesitating to post because I didn't want to jinx anything, but we finally got the good news we were hoping for with a job offer for DH. We're moving to Pittsburgh later this summer. My life is going to be insane when we get back from our vacation next week since we'll have about a month to get our house on the market, pack, and make the move cross country. Not looking forward to the insanity, but I am looking forward to being back home(ish).
Other than that, I've been keeping busy with some sewing projects including a shirt for Keaton's 1st Bday. I can't believe that is right around the corner. Didn't we all just have babies, like, yesterday? That reminds me, I need to start planning my little man's 2nd Birthday party. Oh, and DH's 30th birthday party for shortly before/after we move. Ok, I have to stop, I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with everything on my plate.
