H and I are in need of some serious time away. We have had a ton of seriously major changes in our lives since the beginning of this year and feel like we are ready to lose it. I haven't been on here in forever, and its a result of everything that
has happened the past 6 months.
We are looking for a few recs of places we can go to for a few days to regroup & relax (which we haven't done since January!). Some of the things we wants are:
(1) 3 hour drive or less.
(2) hiking/mountain biking/walking options
(3) nice dinner out @ a restaurant
(4) nice place to stay (B&B, hotel, etc.)
(5) fun things to do
I figured you ladies could give me some ideas to work with. If you can think of anything to suggest, I would really appreciate it. TIA!
Re: Need mini-vaca recs & Hi!
Here's what I came up with on the top of my head
1. Hocking Hills
2. Amish towns up near Cleveland (north of Columbus)
3. Theres a super nice B&B over in Indiana that I can't remember the name of right now. I'm sure someone will mention it.
4. Red River Gorge
5. Mammoth Cave
I hope you guys get the relaxation that you need!
I don't have personal experience with these places but have heard good things.
