Not as cool as Hawki, but...
...check out the cupcakes I made for my brother's graduation party!
The cupcakes themselves were actually out of a box (Betty Crocker...never used that brand of mix before, and never will again. I prefer Pillsbury). I made the cupcakes last night and let them cool. This morning, I frosted each with a thin layer of french vanilla icing (to act as my base). I took some of the same icing, dyed it blue, and covered half of the cupcakes (the "water"). Then, I smashed up a grahm cracker and sprinkled it on the other half (the "sand"). I added blue sprinkles to the "water" side also.
When we got to the party, I added the cocktail toothpick umbrellas and the gummy bears (I used red and white only -- sunburned and not sunburned). They were a pretty big hit
