Summer plans?
What's everyone doing this summer?
I just got back from a weekend camping. I'm heading out in less than a week for a summer grad. class. Then I'll be going camping for the long 4th of July weekend. Another grad. class for a week after that followed by a week camping at another place up north. Then in August I'll be doing 2 in service classes for 2 weeks straight - one in the Catskills and one at RPI.
Hopefully I'll still have some down time to use my pool lol.

We leave for Maine on Friday, and I am SO excited! Aside from that, we will prob get to Boston for a Sox game and spend a few nights there. I will be working a ton (but it's OK bc I think I am quitting at the end of the season!). I plan to play some golf, read, and clean my much neglected house. I also need to get back to exercising!
Heck yeah! We just need to figure out a date. I'll probably post on FB a few options and let the gals pick which one works best for the majority.
School ends for me this Friday. On Monday I'll be heading up to NY for two weeks on Seneca Lake. I'm staying at my parents lake house, for part of the time a bunch of my college girlfriends are coming, then it's 4th of july weekend and family will be in town (along with DH driving up for that long weekend), then my SIL will come from Buffalo to visit and relax for a few days. It's also possible that my sister will be bringing her boyfriend home to meet the family, so that should be interesting.
July 19th we celebrate our two year anniversary, pretty low key since our real present will be a fancy dinner in August.
Then, DH has a work conference in Chicago for a week at the end of July and I get to go along. I'll hang around the hotel until he's done for the day, then we're hitting up museums and have some reservations at great restaurants.
In August not much besides our anniversary dinner (21 course tasting menu at the chef's table in VOLT, Bryan Voltaggio's restaurant in Maryland, he was Top Chef runner-up. We made the reservations in November and had to wait that long, and that was before his season of the show was even over!) and a concert. Time to rest up before the school year starts again!
My Food Blog
We rent a cottage on Black Lake (near Watertown) every year. There is a chance that I can't go this year b/c I used all of my time when I was out on maternity leave. I will at least go up Saturday-Sunday with Stella and then come home. DH will stay the whole week. It's my favorite vacation....very relaxing! I HOPE I can stay the whole week...
Over Labor Day weekend we will go visit my Aunt & Uncle in Delaware.
My cousin is doing an externship as a pastry chef at a bakery in PA so we plan on taking a day trip to visit her and a couple of friends that live in that area as well.
Dar -- A grad class at RPI?!?! You will have to come visit us for dinner or something!
We haven't really had a chance to make plans for our summer yet, but I just put in for my vacation days -- a long weekend (4 days) around July 4th, a long weekend for my bday, and 2 weeks off - 1 in July and 1 in August. We probably will only travel locally / by car, but I am super excited for some time off!
It's during the day from 9 until 3. I doubt you'd be home during that time.
