Took H's son to Churchill Downs yesterday to bet on the ponies & I won!
This week will be fun. H is taking tomorrow off to go to the county fair with us (the first night is always cheaper). And I'm off Thursday & Friday!

Mine was ok. Hubby and I went to Golden Corral on Saturday - ymmm!!! Sat night had PR party and then coming home, air resistor decided to quit. After some phone calls Sunday, part was $15.99 and friend put it in for $35. Blower is going bad too (I put the new one in October and it should have a warranty). But right now all I have to do is kick it and hit the dash board to keep the blower going. I am happy to have AC again in car. Other note, I haven't been feeling well - stuffed up, couging, etc.

I had a crazy weekend. It was fun but exhausting.
Weekend was full of projects. We added an addition onto our house about a year ago, but left the old exterior wall standing - DH torn that out this weekend and I painted our basement. FIL stayed with us and redid one of the kitches at our duplex which DH also helped out with a bit too!
It was hard getting out of bed this morning that is for sure!

Good Morning! This weekend was great - but did not go as planned.
Originally we had planned to camp in Pickney Rec Area Friday and Saturday. On Thursday the forecast looked poor for Saturday night, so we decided to just go Friday.
Bad choice. On Friday night there were tornado warnings/sirens going off, hail, branches/trees down everywhere, roads were out from flooding, it was a disaster. We ended up throwing the tent in the Jeep and driving home at night - we had the dogs so it just wasn't worth it to stay to get hammered in the tent with thunderstorms and dogs getting mud on everything.
Oh, and the craziest thing - when we got back we found out a woman died from a tree falling in the road. We were driving on that road at the same intersection just around the time the accident happened - so she must have been a few cars behind us.

Our weekend was okay... pretty uneventful. Our power was out for about 24 hours because of the storm, which wasn't fun... but I was happy it was only 24 hours instead of the 50+ that they had originally predicted it would take!
