Was breath takingly beautiful. It completely captured the essence of nola. Very deep and powerful show. Loved it!

    I loved it too!!!! I was wondering what native NOLAns thought of it. B and I have been watching it since the first episode and love it!  It seems so real and touching. It is making me fall in love with NOLA. I went when I was a kid and I can't wait to go visit again.

    Beck it is on HBO, that may be why you never heard of it. It is a fictional account about the people of new orleans going home and rebuilding their lives and city after katrina. It is an awesome show, not really plot driven but very artistic and emotion driven. It follows about 8 people that all connect somehow. Many of them are musicians and each week they play and perform with real musicians in new orleans. For example, last night one of the characters played a gig (and poker) with Allen Toussaint, Irma Thomas, and Art Neville; 3 legends in NOLA. I love this show so much and I want to live there too! I am only 2 hours away but it is still too far for me lol! I ask my hubby at least twice a week to move there.
