Re: How was the weekend?
Wow that would really piss me off! Did you husband ask him to do that, or is he the one who told you?
Saturday I went out to my parents and spent the day shopping with my mom - she bought me some new maternity stuff for my birthday, so when I get bigger, I will have some things to wear to work. We went to lunch with my aunts and sister. Then we went out and started a registry, which was tough because there are SO many choices for every.single.thing. Then I saw my friend and her new apartment and kitten for a little bit, then went to Toy Story 3 with another friend. And promptly passed out when I got home.
Sunday we had a picnic at my grandma's for Fathers Day, then i drove back home and hung out with Kevin before I retreated to the bedroom with the AC.
Friday- went to a candlelite party with MIL. It was fun to get out of the house.
Saturday- dinner with family I havent seen in a while
Sunday- BBQ at DHs cousins.
Amanda, that would piss me off too. I, like you, tell my husband everything. That person needs to mind their own business!
Saturday I did a little shopping then we went out to dinner with my mom for her birthday, which was yesterday.
Sunday I did grocery shopping then we went out to eat for father's day. when we got home we just chilled out and watched movies while Declinn napped.
That is so awful. I would def be having a talk w/ MH to make sure he didn't tell that person to be watching... when H was gone for 9 days working on our new house he told our neighbors to look out for me, to make sure that I was okay.. not to monitor who comes over and how long they are there... Maybe your neighbor misunderstood what your H wanted..We lived in a shady area, and MH trusts our old neighbors, so he just wanted them to make sure they didn't see anyone lurkin around our house since it was just my car there not Mh truck like normal...
but MH told me that he told them that. and i was glad, bc i was scared being by myself.
My weekend was great.
Friday night I layed on the couch & read for a few hours. Chris didn't get home from work until almost 10pm so I just did whatever.
Saturday Chris worked all day. I got up at the asscrack of dawn and went to some garage sales, which was an epic FAIL! I found 2 vases, and a wicker shelf that i'm going to end up getting rid of bc chris doesn't like it. =/
I also made Chris' a carrot cake, and some potato salad. We were going to have a lil b-day party for him with his family on Sunday...and they all cancelled.. so we didn't.
So Sunday we laid in bed until 830 or so.. we went grocery shopping, then laid on the couch for 4 hrs and watched all 3 Bourne movies.. Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy & Bourne Ultimatum. then we made dinner, then we laid on the couch some more and watched The Contract- which is the worst Morgan Freeman movie of all time. I love Morgan Freeman, but that movie was lame.
then we went to bed. super relaxing, which was just what we needed after the crazy few months we've had.
Friday night we went out for Chinese food and came home to do laundry! (fun~!) LOL
Saturday we headed down to his mom's place and we spent the day wandering around town. we went to an orchard and had ice cream and we walked a little bit and had dinner at an Italian place. Then we did some yard work for MIL.
Sunday we headed down to YANKEE STADIUM. to watch the Mets and Yankees game. (Mets lost ) It was a good game but it was HOT and I got a little sun burned, but it was fun.
Today I had an interview for a different day care job, in an infant room. It will pay me 50cents more/hr but I don't know if I want to take it yet since its a farther commute... I have a follow up interview next tuesday, to spend an hour in the room and see if I would like it or not. (and for them to see how I would do...)
