KY??

I was just wondering if any onehas used KY liquid?? Did you like it? FI and I tried it to night and it was so sticky, it was nice at first but dried out quick and the burned really bad!  My doc said I can only use water based lubes but I haven't found one I like yet. I use astro glide during anal sex but not a huge fan of it during vaginal. Any suggestion would really help. TIA

Re: KY??

  • I'm not the biggest fan, but I've never had that problem. Did you reapply? Sometimes you have to reapply. If you didn't and things got sticky and you kept going with things all dry and sticky then it's no wonder it burned.

  • No we kept replying. But it dried so quick that it was no fun and we ended up just stopping. But as we laid there it started to burn me so bad I had to jump in the shower! Maybe it was just a bad bottle or something.
  • There are better quality lubes out there, water and silicone based, but you have to find them in "Adult" stores. Ask the salespeople, they're usually pretty knowledgable about what they sell.

I personally like ID Wet for a water based lube, and ID Millenium for a silicone based one.

  • Thanks!! I will look for the ID wet one.

After trying a silicone based lube, I'll never use a water based again. ID Millenium is the only thing I use now. I had bad reactions to water based lubes too.

  • Please go out and purchase yourself a small bottle, or even sample, of H2O by System Jo. I promise you, you will never touch another lube again. They additionally have glycerin free water based lubes for folks who have additional sensitivity. You will not regret your purchase.

  • I don't know what kind you are using, but I read somewhere that the mint or tingling lubes have menthol in them which can cause irritation and drying out.
