Trash the Dress
Now that I am 5 years removed from my wedding and a little less attached to my dress - I was thinking of doing a trash the dress session, and I have a few questions...
Have any of you done this before? What did you do?
What are your thought on this trend? and is it chessey, tacky, lame, (other?) to do it 5 years later?
I will possibly get a free if not discounted session as the photographer is a friend who has never done one of these sessions before and would make the session free or discounted as I would be helping her build her portfolio.

I never did a trash the dress session, but I do think about doing it (2 years later). I don't think it matters how long you wait IMO. If anything its a celebration that you still fit in it however many years later! I have NO idea of mine still fits so I'm not sure if there's going to be any celebrating
I say go for it!
I don't have any suggestions for a 'theme', but I'm curious to see what others come up with.
I did a Trash the Dress photo session. Mine was done at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes and Lake Michigan. Since I did one myself, I don't find them cheesy, tacky or lame no matter when you do them. I will say I've seen some better excuted than others though.
I'll see if I can find some photos to post for examples, if you want.

We have a few displayed in our house just like our wedding photos. I also have a photo album on our coffee table in our living room next to our wedding album.
I was able to get mine done for free as well, so it seemed like a no brainer to me to do them. More pics with MH and another chance to wear my dress - fun!
I hope you have a nice big copy of that one w/ you and DH laying on the sand on display in your bedroom!
