Salon near Albany?
I am in desparate need of a new hair style and I am looking for somewhere I can go and get some input from the stylist. I have a lot of hair but it is fine and doesn't have much body at all so some styles just won't work. I feel like every time I get my hair cut and ask for guidance from the stylist, they just shrug and tell me to just get a trim or they plop a stack of books on my lap. Any thoughts on somewhere I can go in the capital district with competant stylists and reasonable prices?

I go to Kirsten, at Complexions on Wolf Rd. I followed her there from Head Games, where she used to work. I have curly hair, so I can only speak to her skill with that. She was good with coming up with something for me when I wanted ideas.
Finding a hair stylist is such a personal decision though. Good luck with it!
I go to Cody and have been very happy with her. I used to go to Katie, who I loved, but she left. I would maybe make an appointment with Bridget, the owner, for a consultation.
