Random thought: do you like Cilantro?
I hear that this is one of those herbs that you love or hate... and that its quite common for folks to hate it... do you?
I love it and can't understand how you couldn't. My lunch had cilantro on top and I can still smell it (and lovin' it).
Re: Random thought: do you like Cilantro?
*gasp*
Just kidding... its used in Mexican cooking alot. What I had today was a Vietnamese dish. Can also be referred to as Corriander.
Love it! Some of my favourite styles of food (Thai, Mexican) use it frequently. What is salsa or guacamole without cilantro??
Also, dislike of cilantro can be genetic:

I hate it with the fire of a thousand suns.
I used to tolerate it. Then a friend said when she lived in Thailand she always hated when the ladies would come on the bus with the 'stinky weed'. (She was Swiss and forgot words sometimes.
It took me a while to figure out what she was talking about. When I did? I told her I thought it was fine. Then she said, "Never smell a warm, fresh bouquet of it. You'll never eat it again."
I didn't believe her. I marched to Keller's market in Banff and grabbed a bouquet. (Chilled, actually). Inhaled deeply and...
I can't even stand the sight of it now. They use it on fish in Morocco and I always have to tell DH to make sure they hold the green stinky weed.
We LOVE cilantro and try to use it as often as possible.
My DH makes an amazing curry paste from scratch and cilantro is the main ingredient. He is actually supposed to be making it today and I can't wait!
