We're having our "alcohol tasting" party on Saturday night. I want to make just 2 or maybe 3 different mixed drinks for people to sample, but truthfully...I never make mixed drinks.
What should I make? Recipes are welcome.

Arnold Palmers are good, just add some alcohol
I'll have to check our closet to see for sure what we have, but I know we have rum and vodka, as well as whiskey and various liquers (sp?). We have no problem going to buy something, though.
Oh, and anything that can have a virgin version, too, would be great. We'll have at least a couple non-drinkers there.

Italian Surfer:
Pineapple juice
Malibu Rum
splash of amaretto
cherry on top
it is delicious!!
Amaretto Sours are really good. The ones I have had I can't taste the alchol, which could be a bad thing because you can have 3 or 4 and not realize it.
