Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Google Voice PSA
For anyone who is interested in Google Voice, Google has now opened it to everyone. You no longer need an invitation to get a GV #.

GV is a service where you can get a phone #, and then you can use that as your primary # and it will ring any other phone you want it to. So, like... you can give out your GV # to your work, and then go into Google Voice and set it up so when people call your GV# it only rings (for example) 9am-5pm M-F. Or you can use your GV# to ring your house during some hours, cell during other hours, work phone other hours, etc.
I'm sure someone else could explain it better! lol.
Example: Ted had a work & personal cell. He uses his GV# so when someone call him it rings both phones, that way he can get personal & work calls regardless of which phone he's carrying.
I know some other people give out their GV# to people who they don;t want to talk to. so you can set it up to where when anyone calls your GV# it automatically goes to VM. Then you get the VM and can decide to call back or not. Also, GV transcribes the VM's to text messages so you can read them.
Yeah, kinda like that.
