I got a letter yesterday that my hair stylist who I have been going to for the last 16 years is no longer doing hair. I am super bummed and was going to make an appointment in the next week or so but now need to find someone new. So I am looking for someone new, my stylist was a bit pricey so I am not looking for someone inexpensive, but someone who is excellent

We have been going to Michelle at Mitchell's in Kenwood for many years. Always listens, does a wonderful job, and is personable. We had to stop going to her earlier this year b/c it was getting expensive for both of us. Highly recommend her!!

I love everyone at Tanya's Image and Wellness Salon in Hyde Park Square. I highly reco Megan (I go to her regulary) and Rae (I would go regularly if she were in my price range). Both excellent! I also go to Melissa and Kenji, but Megan most often.

I got to Laura at LaBella on the westside. I have been going to her over 13 years and I drive from Anderson to see her...she's awesome!!! I know my mom and niece also see her (and both of them are very picky!) LOL

I used to hang out with Kenji back in the day...

I go to Annie at Salon LA and/or Douglas and I LOVE them both. they make my crazy hair look good!

I went to Suzanne at Paragon-Downtown for a few years and she was great! I loved her! When I moved to Mason, I started going to Rhonda at Ambience in West Chester and she is great as well! Big Smile

I go to Jen Hart at Pure Concepts in Montgomery/Kenwood. She's affordable, fun, and does a great job. You just reminded me, I need to schedule my next appointment with her :-)

Taylor Jameson in Northside is awesome--see anyone there, I have friends with a particular love for Aubrey. My stylist, Robyn, used to work there before branching off and opening her own salon. She had a baby earlier this year and isn't cutting for anyone except her regulars for the time being, or I'd recommend her directly.

TJ's can be somewhat pricey, but not too outrageously so if you're used to going anywhere other than Great Clips (~$50 for a cut). They're awesome if you want to look edgier, punkier, etc., althought they'll do boring styles, too, if you want.
