Gah...vent (TTC related)
I think I mentioned on here a few months ago about our niece born in late January to my BIL and his wife.
Yep, you've guessed...they think she's pregnant AGAIN...they couldn't get into the doctor today b/c they had to put down their kitty (major sad face b/c he was so cute - he hate a bug, and he got really sick, and there was nothing they could do), but she's taken at least 6 hpt's, and all positive. And she's late by a couple weeks (she's uber regular apparently).
Did I mention she has ONE ovary? :-(
Oh well, the niece/nephew will be much loved, and I am happy about it, just really bummed too.
His brother was cute about...they offered to let us adopt this baby. Too sweet, but we declined. I want a baby, but I think the sibling/cousin thing would be kind of odd.
So I'm consoling myself with wine and an at home mani/pedi.

So forgive me for sounding....snarky I guess....but since you didn't accept their offer are they keeping the baby or are they still putting it up for adoption? That just sounds way weird. Sorry.

Thanks...no, they're keeping it. I think they offered b/c they feel bad/guilty for getting pregnant so quickly and we still haven't. My sister offered the same thing. Sweet offers, but at the same time it's like, I don't want your baby b/c you feel bad for me. Weird.
Wine makes almost everything better :-) And new nail polish. And a lesson learned to never ever buy cheapie nailpolish...so watery I had to put one like a bagillion coats; thankfully that's on the toes. Have better polish for the fingers.
I've had people start to offer weird things too. The weirdest was a coworker offering her lady parts cause she "wasnt ever gonna usem."
