In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Nervous & Excited...
We're heading to Chicago tomorrow to look for a place to live! (I was about to write FI)... HH will be starting med school in the Fall. We've been back a week since our honeymoon (in his parents' house since we move out of our apt before the wedding) and I couldn't be more ready to get into our own place and start fresh! I've never been to Chicago before and HH was only there for his interview, so this is all going to be new to us! Wish us luck finding an amazing, reasonably priced apartment. We're gone for a week, I can't wait!

I lived in the suburbs for 7 years and loved it before I relocated to be closer to my family. There are a couple of girls on here who live in the Chicago area - one is in Clarendon Hills (a post from yesterday) and I can't remember where the other is. But I'm sure they'd be glad to give you tips & tricks on where to go and where to stay away from.
I would recommend Lincoln Park (north side) if you're looking to live in the city. Of course, I have no idea which hospital your HH will be at, so you should go with something that's close to that. Cuz the commute to get anywhere is a b$!%h.
