PSA - I can't remember if a weekend was picked, but if it has and anyone's ready to book airfare, I just read about Southwest running some discounted rates for their anniversary. If you fly between 9/8 and 11/7 fares start at $39 one way. The catch - you have to book by the end of tomorrow (6/24).

The weekend is Oct 23-24.
(I'm doing either the week before or after as well...haven't decided.)
Aria - The weekend before (the 16th and 17th) is the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival and the weekend after (the 29th through the 31st) is Voodoo Fest (a pretty big deal). Not sure if that helps your decision or how long you would consider staying but just wanted you to know.
Voodoo Fest = Ozzy Osbourne tops the initial roster of performers announced for the 2010 Voodoo Experience, He?ll join Muse, MGMT, Weezer, Drake, Metric, Paul Oakenfold, the Eagles of Death Metal, Cage the Elephant, Minus the Bear, Janelle Monae, Street Sweeper Social Club and dozens of New Orleans musicians in City Park.
I'm super sad, but I can't go. My co-worker is in a wedding in Maui and I promised to cover for her so that she can go.
Maybe everyone should update the form to see if there is a better weekend?
Or is that too wishy washy - and we should go ahead with the Oct 23-24?
I know that I definitely cannot go that weekend. Its the only weekend that our photographer and the family could make it for Hunter's 1st bday party. Sorry ladies. I know everyone was excited for me getting drunk and ACTUALLY streaking. (Its okay if you deny it, I know its true).
