How was everyone's evening? Anything going on tonight?
Re: Morning! (Tuesday)
It was a nice evening. We ate dinner outside and watched L play. I swear he gets sillier by the day
After he went to bed we caught up on True Blood and the Soup.
After work L and I are having lunch with friends and I may attempt to take his 4th of July pics.
What bedding did you pick out? I want to see!
Ditto!!
Brandi- I hope the vet has good things to say at the appointment.
Kat- She was obviously a little sleepy head.
Yesterday I went to the gym and did yoga and zumba, then came home and continued working on getting paint off the baseboards. I can not believe how long it has taken.
Today my goal is to apply for one job, clean our half bathroom (I am guessing at least 1-2 hours), and then possibly painting or more cleaning. In the afternoon I am looking forward to wine tasting.
Staying busy around here with finishing up my job (ends on 6/30), job hunting, Jr League, Sarah, etc. No wonder I have a headache today!
Brandi - hope the kitty's ok! You're an angel for taking it in!
Kat - that's so funny about Izzy! When Sarah's being bad I'll ask her if she wants to go to her bedroom (for a timeout) and lately she's been saying yes and just hanging out in there relaxing. Guess it gives her time to cool down.
Have a great day everyone!
Kat: I hear that! We've been trying to orgainize/purge the entire house. It's been my own personal hell. To the point where P wasn't allowed to ask if I wanted to keep/toss anything because I was on the verge of tears. Add that to taking care of wee ones, running errands & oh yeah, finding "me" time. I don't know what I would do w/out going to the gym. On sunday I was about to loss it (P had to work & I still had to hit up the market). So I finally said eff it & took C to the pool after nap. It was SO NICE. He had so much fun & I had to tell myself to take in the moment. Not care about the list of crap to do at the house (of course this meant forgetting to wash my own clothes). But it's all so damn overwhelming. *hugs*
Brandi: That's HARD work! I've never taken in a kitty, but an old co worker did on several occassions. It's like taking care of a newborn. Bravo to you!
Job hunting and trying to get my house together alone is making me go crazy, much less still working with a little one. Good luck and I hope you get that mini getaway to your parents you were talking about in July.
Morning! I am going to make an attempt to post here more.
Yesterday we had a dr appt, then went fishing in the evening. Tonight I have dinner at my grandma's for some extended family visiting from out of state.
super jealous!!
Brandy-yeah it's hard. With us DH is the keeper. I'm the one trying to toss everything. Plus since we are never there together it's even harder to purge. I'll sort, than he'll come back and sort that same box, keeping stuff that I had given away and it just becomes a vicious cycle.
Than there's the kids and their "helping" While I was sorting thru some boxes i was letting them play in this box that I thought only had old remotes and video game controllers, turns out it had our old IPODS which we are planning on selling. I didn't notice when J started drawing on them. Luckily it was just the rubber case and it wiped off.
I wish but I don't have anyone to watch the kids
