I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, but I'm trying to post a poll to get your input. I'm looking into taking this board private, and want you input. [Poll]

I would prefer a private board more because I post about Bebe and worry about creepers. R pointed out that you can google me and come up some of my board posts, kind of freaks me out.

Are these "private board" places easy to use, easy to post pics on, and relatively spam free and virus free?

It took me so long to get used to the knot/nest/bump formatting stuff for sigs and posts - another place just seems scary!

This would be in addition to the google group thing and facebook? (or would it be a facebook group thing?)

Hey ladies, I would totally be into a private board as well. I literally haven't posted since the baby because like Katie, I just dont want info about her on a totally public board. I have been dying to talk to you all again on here, but I have suddenly become more private with my personal life, and considering how public of a job DH has, it is just too easy to find out who/where we are.

I voted no, but after reading the responses, I'd be up for it and for paying if necessary - but the functionality would have to be equal to or better.

I think that the GTG group site is a little cumbersome - although it has its good points, like the doc upload.

Agreed. We would still have this board, and still be active with it but have somewhere else to post things about the babies more often and the more serious topics (and ahem...MIL bashing if one so chooses) in a more private setting. I've seen so much lately that weirds me out about the creepsters on this site. Especially now that it has become SO popular.

I agree with the bolded. I'd prefer to keep our board but have another outlet for more private discussions.

I am on a private board for my local board and I love it. We have no problems airing out some dirty laundry and since it is a members only board we know who is looking.

We have tried some different boards so if you want help with looking I can tell you where we have been. All have been free.
