my health
For almost two months now I have been having on and off nausea and heartburn, usually it lasts for an hour or two and sometimes it lasts all day. I went to the doctor after about 2 weeks of these symptoms and he gave me pepcid which helped for a little while but then my symptoms got worse. One day last week I actually threw up water (nope could not even keep water down) and I had lost a total of 10 lbs which is huge for me because I feel like I am too small anyway. I have gained back 4 lbs as of this morning which is good.
I went back to the doc on monday and he has referred me to a gastroenterologist (sp?) who is going to stick a camera down my throat and get samples of my stomach lining. I am totally freaked out by all of this. Don't know what to think. I was actually feeling better but then this morning a small bout of nausea.

Oh no! Hopefully this doctor can get to the root of the problem(s) and get you on the road to recovery soon, or at least get you some kind of diagnoses (hopefully a quick fixable one)!

Hudys- I'm glad to hear the procedure is not a long one. . .this is what I am worried about the most.
Gosh, I am sorry you're not feeling well, but I'm glad they're on the case. I hate feeling nauseous, so I can't imagine your agony!
