RP: What would you do with $1,000
**This is completely hypothetical...I do not have an extra $1,000 just lying around**
It HAS to be spent on you. You cannot pay off a bill, save it, or spend it on anyone else.
I would join a gym and hire a trainer for a couple months. Then, after I lost some weight, I would go on a big shopping spree. New clothes, bras, nice accessories, the works.
I'm hating my clothes right now.

If I can save it short term, I'd put it in the "Italy 2011 vacation fund."
If I need to spend it immediately... new window treatments for my dining room and living room, and lighting for my kitchen.
I was going to say on the house, but since it's just me I would buy myself a Kindle or a Nook with a cool holder, and get a personal shopper or wardrobe consultant to help me overhaul my clothes. I seriously want to throw out most things I own and start over.
I would buy 2 cases of Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio.
No, I'm not an alcoholic. Santa Margherita is my FAVORITE wine, that I do not buy on a regular basis. I can't bring myself to spend $28 per bottle every time I want wine.
With the rest of the money, I would have a spa day (or at least as far $328 could go, lol).
