Let me start off by saying hello! =D I hope everyone is doing well.
I really need your help ladies! My BIL is getting married this Saturday, he just announced it about a weeks ago. He was planning on just having a ceremony but my husband and I told him we wanted to have some appetizers and cake afterwards since people are probably expecting to see them after the wedding. He thought that was a great idea just hadn't thought about it since he was doing the planning alone.
I thought we would do pulled pork mini sandwiches, deli spirals and a veggie tray. For dessert we were going to have brownie bites and lemon bites since BIL said someone was making him a wedding cake but isn't sure how big it will be. Any comments or other suggestions? I just need items that are either served cold or that can stay warm in a crockpot since the ceremony is at another location. Thanks! Oh and we are thinking there will be about 30 people and the ceremony will be at 4:00 (we think) and the mini-reception is about 10 minutes away.
Re: Need help with wedding menu
Chips and salsa? Cheese and crackers? Grapes and strawberries? I don't know how many vegetarians there will be at your party, but it's always nice to offer a few options besides just straight vegetables (and non-vegetarians like that stuff, too).
And how nice of you to be hosting this for him! I think you made the right call and I hope you all have a ton of fun!
