Hi Ladies!!!

I haven't been on the knot/nest in about a year since I got married, but I know this question used to be asked and this is the first place I thought to go to for the answer. I'm glad to see a bunch of familiar names and that you gals are still on chatting. We are looking for a place in NE Metro Atlanta (particularly Norcross/Duluth)  for a good recommendation for Brazilian Wax. I remember someone talking a while ago about a place on Jimmy Carter, but this is something I don't want to do without a recommendation. We are first timers, but ready to make the plunge!  Any info. would help!

    For a good brazilian, you should be willing to drive. :) I've never heard of anywhere up there, but I had super fab experiences at Sweet Samba in midtown. Ask for Nyesha - that girl is awesome. Getting a bandaid pulled off hurts worse than a BW from her.

    Fifth Anniversary
    I've been to Sweet Samba too.  No problems there and they lady was really nice.  However, I'll never get a BW again.  Not from the experience, it just hurt like heII and wasn't worth it to me.

    Brazlian Wax by Andreia is awesome. She has locations all around Atlanta including a new place in Lawerencville that you should check out! It's $35 and you'll be in and out in 15 minutes.

    I had an absolutely awful experience at this place. It was filthy, nasty, the waxer did not get off her cell phone the whole time, and then tried to "clean me up" by rolling this bottle of wax with a sponge tip that had been used on every other client before me so she could get the last little stragglers. Thank goodness I stopped her before she actually touched me with it.

    i have to agree with this. i used to go there until i found samba. i was a little skeeved but thought that was what all the brazilian wax places were like ( i went to more than one of their locations). but after trying someplace else, i realized just how yucky andreia's really is.

    WOW! I've gone to Andreia's and only had her do my wax. I've only had good experiences but after hearing your stories, sounds like I'll be thinking twice about going back next month!!!
